Mönchengladbach Airport is a compelling business location: Thrustworks, a technology startup from the Rhine district of Neuss that manufactures parts for the aerospace and energy industries, is settling here.

The company specializes in 3D-printed components for satellite propulsion systems. The aim is to make the new space industry, which is commercializing space travel, more efficient and sustainable. Thanks to 3D printing, sophisticated systems can be realized at high speed and in the highest quality. At the same time, the components meet all the strict requirements of the aerospace industry.

According to Thrustwork, several factors spoke in favor of locating at Mönchengladbach Airport: "In addition to the favorable location for technology companies in the greater Aachen, Düsseldorf, Eindhoven and Cologne area, the team at Mönchengladbach Airport and the Mönchengladbach Economic Development Agency convinced us with their commitment to innovative projects on the one hand and the planned expansion and modernization of the business park on the other," explains Christopher Mihm, Managing Director of Thrustwork.
