NRW.Global Business GmbH officially begins work today as the new foreign trade promotion agency of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. The trade & investment agency has been created from the two former companies NRW.INVEST and NRW.International to realign the state's foreign trade promotion activities.
Economic Affairs and Digitalization Minister Prof. Dr. Andreas Pinkwart: "With our new foreign trade and investment promotion from a single source, we will further strengthen the settlement of companies in North Rhine-Westphalia and the support of NRW companies abroad and make them even more effective. Under the umbrella of NRW.Global Business, investor and location advertising as well as market development and export promotion will work together in the future, creating valuable synergies that will enable us to continue positioning our business and innovation location successfully in the face of tougher global competition in the future."
NRW.Global Business is a partner for national and international companies with investment projects and settlement in North Rhine-Westphalia as well as the development of foreign markets for North Rhine-Westphalian companies and networking with international business partners.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, NRW.Global Business is responsible for the operational implementation of the state's foreign trade activities and is the central point of contact for the foreign trade partner organizations. In international location marketing, NRW.Global Business North Rhine-Westphalia promotes North Rhine-Westphalia abroad, particularly with innovative and future-oriented technologies and services.
