Dutch companies will soon have new opportunities to expand their activities in Germany: A new German-Dutch business park is being built in the district of Viersen in the municipality of Nettetal.
Venlo-based general contractor Bouwbedrijf United has been commissioned by Dutch entrepreneur Mahdia Nikmohamadianv to build a total of ten commercial buildings with a total area of 24,000 square meters. Companies will have access to modern and uniformly designed halls with integrated office space, ranging in size from 1,000 to 4,000 square meters each.
According to Nikmohamadianv, the site is particularly attractive to Dutch companies. Among other things, it is conveniently located on the new Montel-Allee access road and close to the A61 highway to Venlo in the Netherlands. Christian Küsters, Mayor of the town of Nettetal, points out that many Dutch companies are already active in the border region. The properties will not only be available to Dutch companies, as companies from NRW will also have the opportunity to move into the new business park.
A special feature of the business park is its focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. The commercial buildings will use sustainable materials and incorporate innovative solutions such as solar energy and water reclamation. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of the year and the first companies are expected to move into the new business park by mid-2025.
