The service provider intends to expand its German business with the new location.
"With the new Operations Center, we can consistently continue our growth course in the German postal market," says Stefan Naujoks, Managing Director of Austrian Post International Deutschland GmbH. At the beginning of the year, the company opened a new location in Troisdorf-Spich, south of Cologne.
From the new headquarters, Austrian Post will send out mail within Germany and to more than 200 countries worldwide. The focus is on business mail, advertising and merchandise mail. Thanks to the large hall space and logistical optimizations such as height-adjustable loading ramps, the aim is to enable even faster dispatch of shipments. According to Austrian Post, a further advantage of the location in NRW is the favorable transport links.
As a wholly-owned subsidiary of Österreichische Post AG, the service provider has been present on the German market since 2005 and has been growing steadily ever since, as CEO Stefan Naujoks confirms: "More and more companies entrust us with their mailings because they value our high quality."
