Quanta Computer to establish production facility in NRW

Another success for structural change in the Rhenish mining area: QCG Computer GmbH, a subsidiary of Quanta Computer GmbH from Taiwan, will produce high-precision electronic systems and devices for vehicle manufacturers, particularly in the field of autonomous driving, at the Brainergy Park Jülich technology and business park.

Initially, 90 new jobs will be created at the site in 2025, rising to 360 by 2028. A production hall and depot with a total area of approximately 20,000 square meters are planned. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2024.

"Quanta set up a small plant in Aachen 20 years ago – with the support of the state's economic development agency. Since then, the Taiwanese company has achieved impressive growth in NRW and will now also contribute to the successful transformation of the Rhenish mining area into a future-oriented technology hotspot".
