The ASEAN region is regarded as a dynamic and interesting economic area with robust growth rates that offers a variety of opportunities for German companies. With the support of the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection and the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in NRW, the North Westphalian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in cooperation with NRW.Global Business is organizing the NRW-ASEAN Summit 2023 on April 20 under the motto "Doing business in Southeast Asia".
The NRW-ASEAN Summit will highlight the benefits and options of the ASEAN region and offer a wide range of connecting points and practical information in a conference program and an exhibitor area.
Representatives of the foreign chambers of commerce of the ASEAN countries will be available for consultations, and delegations from Singapore and other ASEAN countries will travel to the event to facilitate direct contacts and exchanges.
A highlight of the event is the signing of the cooperation agreement, "Joint Workplan Agreement", between the Singaporean business development agency, Enterprise Singapore, and the state's own foreign trade development agency NRW.Global Business GmbH in close cooperation with supporting partners such as IHK.NRW e.V. and D#NRW. Based on this cooperation agreement, the partners intend to carry out joint project activities to promote internationalization, networking as well as research and innovation for SMEs and startups from NRW and Singapore.
The event will take place on April 20, 2023 from 12:00 to 18:00 h at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. Participation is free of charge. Further information, including registration, can be found here.
